    On Sunday, a veteran of the Indian cricket team, Venkatesh Prasad made the most out of the epic ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’ trend initiated by a hilarious advertisement featuring Rahul Dravid in a super-angry avatar.
    Prasad hopped on Twitter to use the same tagline to relive one of the most iconic moments of his professional life when a banter between Pakistani batsman Aamir Sohail and him quickly turned sour for the former, during the World Cup 1996 quarter-final in Bengaluru.

    “Me to Aamir Sohail in Bangalore at 14.5- #IndiraNagarkaGunda hoon main,” Prasad captioned the tweet with a cheeky smiley face at the end.
    Smacking Prasaad for a boundary on the penultimate ball of the 15th over, Sohail walked down the pitch, signaled where he had hit the ball with his bat, and pointed his index finger towards the bowler to ‘show him his place’.
    Unfortunately for Sohail, the following delivery was meant to rip his stumps off the ground. A charged-up Venkadesh Prasad could then be returning the favour to the southpaw batsman and order him to leave the pitch with the utmost respect (no, not really).

    However, 25 years later, a Pakistani sports anchor decided to challenge Prasad’s savagery and ended up trying to insult the right-arm medium-fast bowler for sharing the above-mentioned tweet.

    The first-look teaser for Qala, an upcoming film, was dropped recently. Directed by Anvitaa Dutt, the film stars Tripti Dimri from Bulbbul fame and Swastika Mukherjee who was seen in like Paatal Lok. Qala also marks the debut of Irrfan Khan’s son Babil. Clean Slate Filmz, the production house founded by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma, is taking this project forward.

    The film description says that it is a “beautiful, heart-breaking story about a daughter who craves her mother’s love.” The teaser has been edited in an unconventional format where one can see the cast and crew shooting the film at a vast snowy valley. One can see the director, actors, and the crew filming using traditional cameras as well as drones in the 51 second clip.
    While, the plot of the film is yet to disclosed, the film has already started trending on social media.  Add to that, the breathtaking locations used for the film, we're certain it's going to be a film worth watching.
    Recently, Babil also took to his social media handle to sharethat he has succesfully wrapped the first schedule of his debut film. He later shared another post along with the first look and the teaser of the film.

    It is safe to say that Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s debut in the Indian Premier League 2021 did not go the way he or any of his fans had thought. 
    Walking down to the pitch after the dismissal of Suresh Raina, the skipper gave up his wicket on just the second delivery he faced as he helped bowler Avesh Khan get some caught-and-bowled practice early in the season.

    Scoreless, ‘Thala’ had to return to the dugout without making an impact in favour of the Chennai Super Kings franchise.
    However, the duck-out wasn’t even the end of his misery through the night as the Delhi Capitals batsmen walked all over Dhoni’s bowlers and successfully chased down a 188-run total with eight balls to spare. To add to his pain, Dhoni was also slapped with a Rs. 12 lakh fine at the end of the match for maintaining a slow over-rate during the second half.

    Fans and staff members of the CSK continue to feel that Dhoni is still the same old Mahi who smacks bowlers for sixes on demand and that his mysterious captaincy will continue to bring him success even at the age of 39, however, cricket analysts believe that the ‘Whistle Podu’ gang is set for yet another disappointing season after missing out on the IPL Playoffs for the very first time in league history back in 2020.
    Sure, during the two practice matches that CSK had within their squad, Dhoni’s power and unorthodox batting were put on display and were highlighted by social media platforms all over the world to make the followers of the game believe that he was back for a revenge season but the fact remains that Dhoni hasn’t had a decent innings since ICC World Cup 2019.
    A remarkable partnership between @msdhoni and @imjadeja provided some wonderful shot-making and took India to the brink of a thrilling comeback.

    On the other hand, his apprentice Rishabh Pant went on to have a dream start to his career as the captain of a franchise. He was not only praised for his calmness and decision-making as the top-guy but even got to score the match-winning runs in the 19th over of the game to get his side at the top of the IPL 2021 Points Table with 2 points and a +0.779 Net Run Rate (highest in the league so far).

    Passenger planes haven’t really changed much or look quite similar to jets people used to travel on in the late 1960s. Sure, there are some exceptions like the Concorde but then again that aeroplane was discontinued from service on April 10th 2003. The plane was a marvel when it came to supersonic travel speeds but it really wasn’t cost-effective for airlines to operate. Today, the best selling planes happen to be the narrow-body aircraft used for point-to-point travel. 
    However, the future looks very different if we are to go by what aircraft manufacturers are working on. Air Travel is bound to change 30-50 years from now and here are some examples of aircraft that we might use for travel in the future: 
    1. Airbus Maveric  © Airbus
    If you look from afar, this plane looks like a flying wedge and that’s because it uses a “Blended Wing Body” design. The design is still a concept at the moment and Airbus have tested a small scale remote-controlled drone to test the design’s viability. Airbus says the design has "great potential” since it does not have a traditional fuselage and the weight that comes with it. The blended wing body design is quite common to see in military aircraft and sooner or later it will trickle down to passenger aircraft as well. The radical design also might reduce emissions from air travel to half by 2050. 

    2. Flying-V © Delft Technology University
    The Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands have also designed a radical-looking aircraft that could be the future of air travel. The “Flying V’ is a new concept of long-haul passenger aircraft where passengers and cargo can be carried within the wings themselves. The entire plane is shaped like an arrowhead and will be cheaper to manufacture than a blended wing aircraft. The aircraft’s flight capabilities have been tested on a battery-powered drone that has a wingspan of 9ft. The test was a massive success and who knows we might even see Flying-V’s design become a reality soon.

    As we mentioned before, Supersonic air travel has gone backwards ever since Concorde went out of service. Concorde was able to cross the Atlantic in about three hours from London, however it used up a lot of fuel and in turn, had tickets that used to cost more than most people’s full-year's wages. However, a Silicon Valley startup and Japan Airlines is looking to change that with Boom Supersonic. The commercial aircraft that is currently under development is expected to fly at speeds of Mach 2.2 with lower costs than the Concorde.

    A concept project by DLR and the German Aerospace Research Institute, this spacecraft is expected to run somewhat similar to the Virgin Galactic. The craft will travel at the edge of the atmosphere so that it can go 25 times faster than the speed of sound. This speed will enable passengers to travel from London to Australia in about 90 minutes.

    Art tries to imitate life and life imitates art. Well, that’s the grey area that Bollywood tries to fit into. There are movies that you wished would have ended better and fixed age-old notions, and in turn, perhaps showed a different perspective. I, personally, would have loved to see the possibility of showing things in a light that fixes stereotypes that have been nurtured by people for years.
    Today, we have listed down those movies that have been hits but had obvious endings and somewhere didn’t initiate a dialogue that could have changed the perspective of seeing the old customs that many have been following.
    1. Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela

    You might think I am crazy to put a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film loved by almost everyone on the list. We all loved the tragic ending of Ram played by Ranveer Singh and Leela played by Deepika Padukone. It was based on the plot of Romeo and Juliet. Agreed, we all love tragedies because William Shakespeare made us believe so but I just wish Ram and Leela had lived to tell their tale. Their parents should have accepted their love and celebrated it over caste and clan because we do want to see that change in our society. Don’t we?
    2. Aashiqui 2

    Again a tragic tale! Bollywood is clearly obsessed with such stories and I am not really complaining here (pun intended). Rahul is an alcoholic and Aarohi is trying to fix him, that’s surely a cliché. We somewhere knew that he would take his life and Aarohi would take his legacy ahead with her voice. If Rahul had won over his insecurities and not succumbed to them, it would have altogether been a different story. It would have taught a hundred others that life doesn’t end with frailties it slaps on your face. At least, it could have initiated a dialogue on how to deal with low phases of life.
    3. Kai Po Che

    This is one of the movies that hit us hard because Ishaan played by Sushant Singh Rajput had to die in the end at the hands of his own friend. Yes, I know it was inspired by Chetan Bhagat’s Three Mistakes Of My Life, but if in the end, Ishaan had lived to make his friend Omi realize his mistake that politics is for the betterment of people and not killing people in the name of religion, it could have initiated a dialogue on a very sensitive topic. What do you guys think?
    4. Cocktail

    The whole movie was based on regressive mindset and it should be called out. Deepika’s character Veronica is shown as bold and vivacious but also the filmmaker made a point for people to believe that independent women are not meant for marriage. In the end, you see Saif Ali Khan’s character choosing Diana Penty over Deepika Padukone because she is someone a guy can easily introduce to his parents. Had the filmmaker tried to challenge the notion and made Saif’s character choose Veronica and normalize the fact that women who are independent aren’t meant to be just used for your benefits, it may have changed a few mindsets.
    5. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

    In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, we see Anjali marrying Rahul at the end and everyone is happy because they loved each other and all the sugar-coated drama that followed it. Both Rahul and Aman didn’t deserve her because the former was selfish and realized his love for her after his wife died and the latter gave up on her easily. In an alternate world, Anjali should have dumped both and showed the world that women shouldn’t settle for less. And if they aren’t getting the man they truly deserve, it’s not the end. After all, which rule book says that women have to be dependent on men?

    The Delhi Capitals started their 2021 Indian Premier League season with a phenomenal victory over Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the Chennai Super Kings on the shoulders of some impressive knocks by openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan.
    Dhawan looked reinvigorated in the middle of the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and looked in absolute control before his dream-knock came to an abrupt ending thanks to Shardul Thakur trapping him with an LBW appeal in the 17th over, dismissing him at 85 runs off just 54 deliveries.

    However, it was Shaw’s innings and his comments after the match that had the fans tipping their hats to the young batsman. 
    Keeping up with Dhawan’s momentum at the pitch, Shaw made the CSK bowlers look like high-school bowlers and the duo went on to build a 138-run partnership for the first wicket. Blazing and hungry to score as much as he could, Shaw’s blade struck nine 4’s and three 6’s on his way to a 72-run innings off just 38 deliveries.

    Following the disappointment he faced during India’s tour of Australia, Shaw’s knock on Delhi Capitals’ opening day was supposed to announce his return to the highest level of cricket as one of the top-tier batsmen this game is currently witnessing.
    After looking at the consistency and aggression he showed during the Vijay Hazare Trophy in which he led the Mumbai squad to the championship, became the record-holder as the highest scorer in a single season, and the highest scorer in a single innings, Shaw had finally overcome his batting woes in the IPL and played like he is destined to.

    At the end of the massive win, Shaw spoke about what he did to get better ever since getting dropped from the squad following the Adelaide debacle and what his plan of action looks like now. 
    “From Australia when I was dropped I was working from there itself,” he revealed to Star Sports after the game. “Coming back and across early, so I practised before going to Vijay Hazare with Pravin Amre and worked on that. I had a good plan before going into that tournament, so it is working quite well,” Shaw said.

    Bollywood films have time and again shown and portrayed women in the wrong way. Female leads are often shown as pushovers and in the reel world, ‘infidelity’ isn’t a big thing. We’ve seen so many films in which dishonest men who cheat on their girlfriends and wives have been passed on as a requirement of the script. And the worst part is that such film plots have also been applauded by the audience.
    Bollywood films have been all in for bizarre climaxes and cheating has always fascinated filmmakers. After all, it does evoke emotion inside the audience.
    Adultery has been used in many cult classics that have also been the talk of the town for long now. So, here are 5 Bollywood movies that showed infidelity is not a big deal and the audience approved of it.
    Biwi No.1 
    The film starred Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles. The film's plot revolves around the story of a married couple. The housewife (Karisma Kapoor) is a simple woman who takes care of her husband, kids, and family. However, her husband (Salman Khan) falls for a beautiful, glamorous model (Sushmita Sen) and separates from his wife.
    Later, he comes back crying to his wife and she accepts him happily.
    Masti
    The film stars Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles. The plot of the film revolves around three best friends who reunite after many years. They decide to spice up their married life by making a girlfriend. However, their plan doesn’t go as planned and they come to get back together to their wives. 
    No Entry
    Anees Bazmee’s No Entry was largely well-received by audience. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Salman Khan, Isha Deol, and Fardeen Khan in important roles. The story of the film revolves around a local newspaper owned by Anil Kapoor whose wife suspects him of having an extramarital affair.
    However, his friend Salman Khan who is actually cheating on his wife is having a happy time and his wife doesn’t get to know about his ill deeds.
    Pati Patni Aur Woh
    The film was a typical infidelity story with brand new packaging. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Pandey and Bhumi Pedneker in lead roles. The story revolves around how Kartik Aaryan who lives in a small town and is married to Bhumi Pedneker falls for a Delhi girl who is played by Ananya Pandey.

    This film revolves around three men Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, and Suneil Shetty who set up a new business to have some fun beyond their marriage. However, their wives get suspicious and hire a private detective to find if their husbands are cheating.
