    Calling out England cricketer Moeen Ali for reasons known only to her, Bangladesh-born author Taslima Nasreen recently shared a tweet from her official account talking about how the 33-year-old would have joined ISIS if he were not “stuck” playing cricket for England.

    Following a massive social media backlash and being shamed by Ali’s England teammates for unnecessary provocation, Nasreen ended up deleting the tweet but later offered a justification to her followers about how it was meant to be sarcastic in tone.

    Nasreen’s justification sat well with a very small section of the angry fans of Ali, who is an international cricketing presence, and his father was certainly not one of them.

    In an interview with The Indian Express, Moeen’s father, Munir Ali leaves very little to the imagination about how furious he was with what Nasreen had to say.

    "I am hurt and shocked to read Taslima Nasreen's vile remark against my son Moeen. In her "clarifying" tweet, where she described her original remark as sarcasm, she also says she stands against fundamentalism," Munir was quoted as saying by The Indian Express .
    "If she looks into a mirror, she will know what she tweeted is what is fundamentalist - a vicious stereotype against a Muslim person, a clearly Islamophobic statement. Someone who doesn't have self-respect and respect for others can only stoop to this level."

    "Truth be told, I am really angry, but I know I would be playing into the hands of people like her if I let my rage get out of control. If I get to meet her someday, I will tell what I really think of her on her face. For now, I would ask her to pick a dictionary and see the meaning of sarcasm."
    "It's not what she thinks it is. It's not spewing vile poisonous stuff against someone you don't even know and then retracting it by saying it was sarcasm.     In another episode of ‘catfights just got real’, the winner of Mrs. Sri Lanka's beauty pageant winner ended up with injuries in a hospital with head wounds after her crown was snatched on-stage in a bust-up.

    The incident unfolded within seconds of beauty queen Pushpika De Silva winning the ‘Mrs. Sri Lanka’ title at the Colombo theatre on Sunday night. She was crowned by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksha’s wife Shiranthi Rajapaksa.
    Mrs. World Caroline Jurie, who was present at the ceremony, appeared on stage and announced that Ms. De Silva cannot be Mrs. Sri Lanka and is disqualified as she is divorced.

    Ms Jurie said, “I am taking my first steps saying that the crown goes to the first runner up. There is a rule that prevents women who have already been married and are divorced.”
    In front of the live audience, Ms. Jurie walked towards Mrs. Sri Lanka and ripped off her gold crown, also ruthlessly removed a set of pins in the process as the situation got really heated on stage.
    De Silva walked off the stage and the first runner-up was crowned instead and everyone on the stage cheered for her.  The contestant was later hospitalized for her head injuries during the brawl.
    She also later took to Facebook and described the incident as ‘injustice and insult’ and said that she would take legal action.

    The national director of Mrs. Sri Lanka World, Chandimal Jayasinghe, said that the crown would be returned to Mrs. De Silva on Tuesday.
    He said, "We are disappointed. It was a disgrace how Caroline Jurie behaved on the stage and the Mrs. World organization has already begun an investigation on the matter."

    Still, the reason that led to Nasreen’s provocative tweet forwards the English player remains unclear.
    Over the weekend, it was rumoured that Ali had made a request to his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings to remove the logo of a surrogate product of an alcohol-selling sponsor from his jersey. However, the CSK management officially announced that no such requests were made by the all-rounder.

    “It was misquoted and nobody has raised that point,” CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan told The Indian Express. 
    Moeen Ali is yet to respond to the incident.

    Shahid is wearing Rick Owens Maximal Runner Leather Shoes. These sneakers have a web of grey laces that is synonymous with the Rick Owens brand. The shoe is wrapped with multiple laces which gives it an avant-garde aesthetic. Furthermore, the pair has oversized tongue and heels.

    As for the price, these sneakers are quite an expensive piece. They cost 840 Euros, which converts to Rs 73,251. Plus the usual customs and import duties levied on these shoes.

    We also like Shahid's backpack. He is seen carrying Givenchy's Antigona backpack that's rendered in a contemporary shape. There's a pentagonal flap and one can use it with the top handle or the padded shoulder strap.

    The price of the backpack as well is way too much. It's almost worth Rs 2,30,683. But given that most celebrities are often seen carrying such extravagant pieces, we aren't as surprised.

    As for his outfit, Shahid layered a zippered white jacket over a black T-shirt and further paired it with zippered white shorts. The silver accent of the zipper made the ensemble look edgier. We also like the way Shahid has covered himself with a face shield as it looks quite like an accessory if you ask us.

    Despite owning one of the most popular messaging apps WhatsApp, it seems like Mark Zuckerberg uses the secure messaging app Signal. As a part of the massive Facebook leak, It was discovered by Cybersecurity researcher Dave Walker that Mark Zuckerberg’s personal data was also found online including his personal phone number.

    It was also revealed that Zuckerberg uses Signal instead of his own WhatsApp messaging platform to communicate with his peers. It’s quite shocking to see that Zuckerberg does not use WhatsApp to communicate and uses a rival end-to-end encrypted app instead. “Mark Zuckerberg also respects his own privacy, by using a chat app that has end-to-end encryption and isn’t owned by @facebook,” Dave Walker, wrote on Twitter.

    Signal did not waste time to troll Zuckerberg as the May 15th deadline is fast approaching for WhatsApp users. Users who do not accept the new privacy terms and conditions will eventually be locked out from the messaging app. “For a short time, you’ll be able to receive calls and notifications, but won’t be able to read or send messages from the app,” according to the company’s FAQ page.

    The revelation of Zuckerberg using Signal comes at a time when several users are not happy with Facebook-owned WhatsApp's new privacy policy. Users of the popular messaging app started shifting to safer alternatives like Signal and Telegram in the coming weeks which prompted the company to delay the implementation of the new privacy terms.

    Katrina Kaif is the latest Bollywood star to have contracted the virus. Her announcement came just a day after Katrina's rumoured beau and actor Vicky Kaushal also took to his Instagram account and shared a note on being home quarantined while being in isolation.
    Katrina wrote in her Instagram story, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors." She added, “Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support."

    Vicky, on Monday, announced that he had tested positive. "In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor," Vicky said in a statement posted on Instagram.

    After Katrina also shared the same, people were quick to pass their judgements and make memes on such a sensitive issue.

Even if they are in a relationship, it’s not anyone’s space to judge them as they are mature enough to deal with their own issues.     It was around Diwali in 2019 that rumours of the two dating each other started doing the rounds after the duo was spotted at a party. The two have been seen together at other events too but remain tight-lipped about it, neither confirming it nor denying it.
    In an earlier interview to Mid-Day, Vicky had addressed the issue by saying that dating was a beautiful feeling as there were no cons to it. “There are no cons to dating. It’s a beautiful feeling. I understand that the paps are doing their job. I also understand that people have an interest in our personal lives, by the virtue of us being public figures. That’s fair. But it’s completely up to me if I wish to share. I am not comfortable opening up my personal life for discussion. It’s important to me that I guard the good things,” shared Vicky.

    We often come across real-life stories that only exist in movies and are unbelievable. Sometimes, they are extremely annoying and we can only pray that it turns out to be fake. And this time, in another bizarre incident, a woman attending her son’s wedding was left crying after she found out that the bride was her long-lost daughter.

    Yes, you read that right!
    The incident took place in Suzhou, Jiangsu province in China on March 31.  The mother-in-law of the bride noticed a birthmark on her new daughter-in-law’s hand which was very similar to the one on her lost daughter’s hand. After noticing the birthmark, the woman approached the bride’s parents and asked if the girl was adopted. She enquired from the girl’s family if the girl was adopted over 20 years ago.

    The bride’s family was shocked to hear the questions as this had been a secret in their family and nobody knew about it. However, they revealed that they had found the baby girl on the roadside several years ago and then decided to bring her up as their own child.

    After hearing the story, the bride burst into tears and wanted to know more about her biological parents. She also described the moment of meeting her biological mother as ‘happier than the wedding day itself'.
    However, this is not it! There is a lot more to come.

    Later, the bride was concerned about marrying her elder brother but the mother-in-law revealed that there would be no objection as their son is also adopted.

    According to Oriental Daily, the woman had adopted a boy after losing all hopes of finding her missing daughter. She tried to find her missing daughter for years but all went in vain.
    So, there was no problem for them to get married as they weren’t biological siblings.

His motivational speeches, his way of training and his overall charisma make Shaw adore his guru to the core.
    In a recent interview with the Delhi Capitals Website, Shaw even opened up about how it feels to play for Ricky Ponting, and here’s what he said:
