  5. How do you suggest one should deal with acne? Pop it? Lock it? Or let it be? According to the experts, none of the above. Some people have to work around pimples during their teenage but others bear the wrath of acne for a much longer time. Living with acne isn’t just bad for your looks, but also for your emotional and mental health. The problem is that there’s no one particular acne-banishing treatment for all. Acne can be treated as per the presence of inflammatory and non-inflammatory skin lesions. Inflammatory lesions are red and angry—can be papules, pustules or nodules. Non-inflammatory lesions are clogged pores. There are some measures you can take to combat acne. Here’s a small plan to help you on your quest for clear skin. 1. Make An Appointment With Your DermatologistIf your skin is being scarred by acne, you need to take it seriously. You might need oral medication or an acne treatment that requires a prescription to treat pimples. Even if medication is not required, consulting an expert will eliminate the guesswork and give you a consolidated plan for fixing your problem. When you’re building an acne-clearing routine by yourself, you’re hoping for results but a dermatologist will give you a clearer picture of whys, whats and hows. It’ll help address issues like acne scars, pigmentation and uneven skin texture more sincerely. __ECOMPRODUCT__2707__ 2. Keep The Name Of These Ingredients On Your TipsThe long list of ingredients on an acne treatment can be one of the most confusing parts but you can make it simple by remembering the names of the right ingredients. A combination of non-comedogenic skincare (products that won’t clog your pores) and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as niacinamide or azelaic acid are the best way to treat breakouts. Make sure you add a retinol-based (vitamin A) product to your nighttime skincare regimen. Retinoids don’t clog the pores but help exfoliate skin cells from the inside. They have anti-ageing properties which mean they work of smoothening fine lines and refining skin texture as actively as they work on acne. Start with a lower concentration, give your skin some time to build a tolerance before moving to the stronger formula. __ECOMPRODUCT__3073__ __ECOMPRODUCT__3013__ 3. Give Acid Exfoliant A ShotScrubbing or scouring is not recommended for acne-prone skin. The friction can trigger acne flares and damage your skin’s dermis. It’s advisable to switch to a chemical exfoliant, which can dissolve the dead skin cells gently. Go for products containing a beta hydroxy acid such as salicylic acid. They’re oil-soluble and can penetrate the pore deeper. __ECOMPRODUCT__1562__ 4. Focus On Anti-Inflammatory FoodsWhile your diet is an important aspect of skin health, it rarely impacts acne. Certain foods, however, can make a difference. Foods with a high glycaemic index aren’t considered the best choice, whereas zinc-rich foods, such as nuts may have an anti-inflammatory effect. You must also choose your protein supplements wisely. If you’re experiencing breakouts, avoid powders that contain whey protein as they have been linked to breakouts. __ECOMPRODUCT__3074__ 5. Don’t Take Sunscreen LightlyYou might have been avoiding SPF as the unpleasant greasy residue brings more concern than comfort. But we would advise you to go for a lightweight sunscreen instead. It will help you in the long run by limiting pigmentation and scarring aggravated by sun exposure. The wrong sunscreen is the problem, but the right one can help reduce the appearance of dark marks from blemishes. Stick to broad-spectrum, lightweight and oil-free formulas. __ECOMPRODUCT__3075__ The BottomlineDealing with breakouts seems like an out-of-control task and we wouldn’t lie to you, you’re somewhat right. But as long as you’re keeping these five points in mind, you’ll be able to reach your goal of attaining a clear complexion. Explore More View the full article

  10. Unlike the Bollywood movies where most of the time, things end on a good note for the hero and heroine, in real life, the Hindi film industry is anything but that. Many times, despite admissions of cordial relations between star actors, it often comes to the knowledge that a lot of the Bollywood A-listers don't even like talking to each other. © Prime Video Now, this is when we talk about actors who are not known to be friends, but what happens when things are rocky between stars that are known to be close to each other? According to reports, this is the kind of relationship that two of Bollywood's biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have. © YouTube Despite the actors working in films like Mohabbatein, Josh, Devdas, and Aye Dil Hai Mushkil, it is known that the pair have shared a troubled professional relationship. But how troubled, one may ask, right? Well, as per reports, things were so freaking bad that King Khan apparently got Aish removed from a lot of his films. Yes. That's right! Aishwarya, who was at the peak of her career on the back of being one of the finest and the most popular actresses in the industry, was removed from five of SRK's films that included Veer-Zaara (2004), and Chalte Chalte (2003). © Prime Video © Netflix When Aishwarya, who is now a part of the Bachchan family, was asked about the same on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, she said, “How can I have the answer to that? Yes, at the time, there was talk of a couple of films that we would be working on together. And then, suddenly they weren’t happening, without any explanation whatsoever. I have never had the answer to why.” © Twitter “At the time, when you have no explanation, you’re obviously completely taken aback, and confused, and hurt. You wonder about it. If a person feels a need to explain it, they will. If they never did, they never intend to. So, it’s not in my nature to get into questioning what and why. Probably within myself, but I wouldn’t go up to a person and ask why. By the grace of God, I’m not defined by the other.” Imagine if that could happen to a star actor like Aishwarya, what would be the state of things for young and upcoming actors, who are struggling to fit into the industry. Regardless, it was revealed that SRK too spoke on the incident, and apparently has some regrets over what he did to 'good friend' Aishwarya. “To start a project with someone and then change her for no fault of hers is very difficult. It is very sad as Ash is a good friend. Personally, I think I did wrong. But as a producer it made sense. I apologized to Ash.” said King Khan, while speaking to India Today. Well, it looks like in B-Town, things lean on more towards forgiving and forgetting. View the full article

  12. Apple's decision to remove the charger and the earpods from their iPhone box packaging pissed a lot of people. Apple said the decision was made keeping in view the company's environmental goals, and now, we just learned approximately how much Apple probably ended up saving by making that decision. According to a Counterpoint Research report, it looks like Apple ended up saving $4.2 by not bundling any box contents. Check out Counterpoint Research's infographics for the same: © Counterpoint Research $4.2 is approximately Rs 308 on every iPhone 12 box it shipped. While that doesn't look like a significant amount, it indeed adds up to a huge sum when you consider all the iPhone 12 units that Apple shipped. As per the report, Apple shipped over 63 million iPhone units which means they probably ended up saving over $250 million. That and you need to consider the amount of money they probably made by selling box accessories separately. Obviously, this probably wasn't a move to save or make any profits but there's no denying that Apple did end up making a lot of profit off a decision that was made keeping their environmental goals in mind. © YouTube/Marques Brownlee That being said though, Counterpoint Research says how it cost them more to make an iPhone 12 in comparison to the iPhone 11. You can check out their report right here to learn more about other costs involved in detail. View the full article
  13. Samsung is most probably removing chargers from future smartphones that have been rumoured for a while. However, the South Korean giant has been caught deleting an ad that was used to mock Apple when it removed the charger from the iPhone 12 boxes. The ad was made by Samsung’s official handle in the Caribbean the day the iPhone was announced. It had a picture with the caption that said: “included with your Galaxy.” © Samsung/Carribean Samsung has deleted ads and posts from their social media channels in the past that were used to mock Apple for making bold choices. Back when the Galaxy Note 10 was announced without a headphone jack, the company deleted artworks that mocked Apple for removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7. Samsung has usually followed Samsung in Apple’s footsteps and it isn’t necessarily a bath thing. Removing the charger from the box a smartphone could be good for the environment and in Samsung’s case more beneficial as it does not use a proprietary charging port. Recent Samsung phones all support PD fast charging via the USB-C port and are compatible with third-party chargers as well. © LetsGoDigital Customers of previous Galaxy phones will also find it easier to use old chargers as some of previous Samsung phones have already been shipping with USB-C chargers and cables. In the case of Apple, it was a bit harder since the majority of previous Apple users were still using a USB-A charging brick. This was problematic as customers were forced to buy a new charger that came with a USB-C port since the iPhone 12 ships with a USB-C to Lightning cable. Having said that, it is quite ironic to see if Samsung does remove the charger from the box mere months after mocking Apple for the same decision. We will know for sure soon as Samsung is expected to announce the next Galaxy S series of smartphones in January 2021. View the full article
  14. This year, Apple took a bold step to remove charging bricks from the iPhone 12 Series which was met with mixed opinions by customers. However, it seems like Apple may consider taking this step further by removing the charging cable from the box as well. Apple removed the charging brick from the iPhone 12 Series as a move to reduce its carbon footprint while others suspect it was also to reduce cost. © salman-majeed-unsplash However, Apple removing the charging cable altogether might be the next step in this direction. This information is not based on a leak or a rumour bur rather a survey Apple sent its existing customers. The survey asked customers about two things specifically, — the included charging cable and biometric security. As per a report by 9to5Mac, Apple has sent these surveys to iPhone 12 customers asking them about which items i.e. USB-C to Lightning cable, Apple Stickers and the Sim eject tool that are included in the packaging were used. The survey does not indicate whether Apple might remove any of these times, however, asking about behavioural usage of the aforementioned items could be indicative that Apple is considering removing the cable. It is worthy to point out that prior to removing the charging brick from the iPhone 12, Apple asked existing customers via a survey about how they used their chargers included in the retail package. © martin-sanchez-unsplash Apple since then has removed the charging brick to reduce e-waste and it could be possible Apple might eventually remove the charging cable as well. This doesn’t seem too far-fetched any longer since Apple is rumoured to be working on a portless iPhone for 2021. Apart from the accessories that come in the retail box, Apple also asked customers about the security aspect of FaceID and about their experience. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, protective masks have been making it difficult for customers to unlock their phones as FaceID does not recognise a user’s facial features with it. Some rumours have pointed towards an in-display fingerprint sensor on the next generation of iPhones or a fingerprint scanner on the lock-screen button similar to the iPad Air.
