Police said the vehicle, carrying 14 people, plunged into river near Cheo Bridge. The passengers were en route to Chitral from Garam Chashma area.
Locals rescued seven passengers, while three bodies, including one of a woman, were also recovered. Chital Scouts helped pull the jeep out of river through a crane.
Four people were still missing and the search was on for them.
