Shopkeepers in Sialkot assault women for allegedly stealing clothes

SIALKOT: Police have arrested two men for physically assaulting women in the Subedar bazaar of Daska Tehsil after accusing them of stealing clothes from shops.
A video shared on social media showed a group of shopkeepers slapping and pulling hair of three women sitting on chairs in a shop, with kids in their laps. The women were eventually let go by the men.
The police have filed cases against four men, two of whom have been arrested and sent on a judicial remand.
The shop where the incident took place remains closed.
