Rain continued in parts of the country Sunday morning, while heat and humidity persisted in some areas.

In eastern parts of Balochistan, intermittent monsoon showers continued, bringing the temperature down. But repair work has not yet started on link roads in northern part of the province, which were washed away in recent downpour.

Likewise, people in Nagarparkar area of Sindh have been seeing showers at intervals since Saturday night.

The recent spell of rain has lowered the temperatures in Punjab. In Islamabad, the weather turned pleasant with cool breeze blowing after showers.

In Charsadda and Lower Dir districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rain has been occurring sporadically, while sky remained cloudy in Lakki Marwat and Swabi.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, downpour with lightning and strong wind is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, KP, Federally Administered Tribal Areas and parts of Punjab and Sindh during the next 24 hours.
