Most of the country right now is scampering for cash. As we sweat it out in ATM queues and struggle to get hold of Rs 100 notes, BJP MLA Ram Kadam gifted his son a Mercedes Benz convertible on the young lad’s birthday.

Of course, it doesn’t matter that the child is still a minor and wouldn’t be able to drive the car yet (hopefully). The gift is the king here. 

What did you get as a birthday gift when you were young? A new badminton racket? A brand new sparkling…sketch pen set?! Aww..that’s cute. I got a bar of chocolate. 

What can we say, whether it be a Rs 500-crore wedding or a Mercedes Benz as a birthday gift, looks like there’s no dearth of money for some in the country. Twitter seemed to agree:
