<p>There have been many leaks that usually surface on the web about many Android phones way before they are actually announced. However, people have been tight-lipped about the new Pixel smartphone and there hasn't been much leaked about the smartphone. Renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (better known as @OnLeaks on Twitter) and Gear India managed to source accurate render images of the upcoming Pixel smartphone. These designs have been made public from CAD renders that are pretty close to what the final outcome would look like. </p> <p>These renders look very much like Google's design language on the current generation of Pixel smartphones. It has the two-piece black plate and has a fingering sensor on the rear. In fact, there isn't much difference when compared to the original Pixel. The camera on the Pixel has been rated as one of the best amongst smartphones and the same can be expected from the Pixel 2. </p> <p>What's ironic is that when the Pixel was first announced, Google took a jab at Apple as it had the headphone jack. But, it seems like the new renders suggest that Google has opted to fit it with only one USB Type-C port. This signifies that either Google is probably relying on wireless audio technology as well or it will ship with a converter like the iPhone 7 for people who want to use the audio jack. </p> <p>The Pixel 2 is expected to be 145.3 X 69.3 X 7.8 mm and the Pixel 2 will measure at 157.6 x 76.3 x 7.9 mm, with a 0.7 mm camera bum. Both devices will be thicker than the predecessor's thanks to the camera bump. </p> <p>There is no word about the launch date of the Pixel 2 as of now. However, we can expect the smartphone to be announced after Apple's keynote in September.
