<p class="MsoNormal">Dogs are our best friends. There's no one more loyal and caring than these cute little puppers. And a bond with a dog is bound to be even stronger when you have worked together, especially in a war zone.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Meet this cutie named Cena, and his owner Lance Corporal Jeff DeYoung. They served together in the Marines, and sadly when Cena was diagnosed with cancer, and there was no option other than putting him to sleep, DeYoung knew he wanted to do something incredibly special for his best friend.</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="This Ex-Service Dog Got A Military Farewell Before He Was Put Down" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image2-1501338813.jpg" alt="This Ex-Service Dog Got A Military Farewell Before He Was Put Down" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image2-1501338813.jpg" />© AP</p> <p class="MsoNormal">And, boy, did he come through!</p> <p class="MsoNormal">After he and his owner completed a bucket list, 10-year old Cena was given a proper hero's send-off in Michigan this week. He said: "My whole adult life I've had Cena. When I was 19, overseas, learning how to be responsible, I had Cena.
