50 Bikers Escort This 11-Year-Old Kid To School To Give A Fitting Response To His Bullies

Childhood is a crucial time for any kid. The things they learn and the changes they go through shapes their personality and future. Further, our childhood is also a time where we meet new people, some make us realize the meaning of true friendship and others make us regret for meeting them. We are talking about the school bullies who take pride in insulting others and making their lives miserable to soothe their shallow souls. Having said that, I don't think there's anyone who can understand this feeling of hatred and friendship better than 11-year-old Phil Mike from Indiana, who found unlikely friends in 50 bikers who escorted him to school and gave a fitting response to bullying.

Mike was a victim of bullying, both physical and emotional and right when he lost hope in humanity and his life, Brent Warfield along with his fellow motorcyclists came to his rescue and filled him in with the much needed confidence. Brent even posted about the same on his Facebook page. Β  Β  Β

For several months, the 6th grader Mike was being bullied and body-shamed by his classmates. He was not only emotionally tortured, but was beaten up by them as well. He was called fat and the kids would even kick him in private parts. Mike was hesitant about sharing his ordeal initially; however, his mother got him to talk after noticing changes in him. She was shocked to see that bullying got so bad that Mike was even considering suicide. Mike was so heartbroken and tormented that he started feeling worthless and would think of himself as a stupid kid.

However, things changed for good and Mike found an angel in Brent Warfield of the United Motorcycle Enthusiasts. Warfield told CNN, β€œKids are getting bullied and I can't stand it.” He further added, β€œWe are trying to help the community and spread awareness to prevent kids from being mean to others and prevent possible suicides.”

Warfield was so moved by Mike's story that he decided to help Mike start his school on a different note and show the world who the real boss is. So together with Brent and his biker friends, Phil kick-started his first day of his school year, leaving all the bad memories behind and wearing the garb of confidence to face the new life that's waiting for him ahead. In fact, Mike's mother said that the bike ride was the first time she saw him smile in a long time.

This entire incident has definitely brought a smile on Mike's face and that of everyone who came across this biker community's selfless attitude. Warfield turned out to be Mike's silver lining in the dark clouds of sadness and trauma and we hope that more people learn that a small act of kindness can go a long way. Bullying is not something to brag about and definitely not a way to show how β€˜cool' you are. While, you might enjoy beating a kid, body-shaming them or passing mean comments in the name of jokes, it might leave a deep scar on that kid's life and they might never cope with that mental trauma. So stop bullying others to show your shallow strength.
