In todayâs episode, Laxman gave an epic monologue defending Sita and her character after Lord Rama said Sita would have to go through âangniparikshaâ to come to him. This angered Laxman and then came the epic monologue where he questioned the whole idea of making Sita go through all this when she made all the sacrifices against her will, even though she was a daughter of a king. Laxman even went to say that he should be punished because he left Sita alone to follow Ram. Hereâs the telecast of the episode aired today morning and you can witness the brilliance Laxman has shown while giving the monologue. After the episode, Laxman started to trend on Twitter and people appreciated him for his monologue, dialogue and standing up for Sita. 2. Every time we read or watch a story based on women, it is sidelined and tagged as a clichéd âchic-flickâ and presumed to be a generic tale on matters concerning only women. On the other hand, for centuries, we have watched and read stories that celebrated the valour of men. Women oriented movies are a pretty recent development in terms of filmmakers taking up this subject and projecting it on the screen. Prime Videoâs Four More Shots Please is one show that gained popularity and connected well with the viewers which showcased the life and the struggles of a modern Indian woman and its second season has also released now. The best part about this show is that it is not just the women who are enjoying it, but the men are also learning a thing or two about what goes in the life and mind of a woman. Completed this within few hours and must say it was worth waitingï¸love for the maker's ï¸â #loveislove #baniJ #KirtiKulhari#sayanigupta#maanvigagroo#FourMoreShotsPlease â Ajay Neeta Patel (@neeta_ajay) April 17, 2020#FourMoreShotsPlease New Season. But, actors Maanvi Gagroo and Kirti Kulhari, who starred in the show, spoke with MensXP and told us why men should watch the show and it might convince you to binge-watch it as well . Maanvi Gagroo 1. Firstly, to begin with, a lot of men have watched the first season and they have loved it. It's catering to men too in some ways and a lot of my male friends enjoyed it. They liked it because it's light, fun and has four smart and confident women. 2. Maybe, men can get an insight into women's psyche from what they talk to how they react over certain things. 3. Well, the shooting locations are great and men can take a few ideas for a date with their partners and maybe take them there, obviously after Coronavirus goes for good! 4. I think they can watch it for the male characters because they are written really well and in fact, we keep joking among ourselves that these kinds of men can only exist in fiction. They can take tips from men in the show. 5. Lastly, it's time that men should watch stories about women just like women have been watching stories about men for years and we have never complained that it's a male-oriented film. We haven't ever given tags like men-flick. It's for both genders. We have not made the show thinking it's only for women. It's the men who think it's a chick-flick and it's time that we stop seeing shows through the lens of a particular gender. View this post on InstagramSeason 1, Day 1, Selfie take 3 #throwback #FourMoreShotsPlease #GoofyGirlsAreTheBest Do you guys remember this scene?!A post shared by (@maanvigagroo) Kirti Kulhari 1. First of all, the way I look at the cinema or any piece of art, it is not divided on the basis of gender. People who are open-minded for that matter would understand and we live in a society where we co-exist. It's as important for men to know women as it is for women to know men. 2. It gives you an insight into a woman's world and in this case, we have four women who come from different walks of life. View this post on InstagramOuttakes #FourMoreShotsPlease #round2A post shared by (@maanvigagroo) 3. There are enough male characters in the show for men to connect with and resonate with the situation of the male characters. 4. It might also give a different perspective about women that you have been missing all this while. It will help you see things through their eyes. 5. It's well-written and the characters are very relatable. If you are into it, you would be feeling all the emotions. I would be interested in knowing what men connected with, in the show. It will be great to know about the show from a man's perspective. I am sure now you have ample reasons to watch the show. Well, I also asked the two of them what new their characters are getting on board this time. On this, Maanvi told me, âShe is just as lost as she was in the first season but with a twist. She knows she wants to chase dreams but doesn't know what her dreams are. I don't relate to the character and I had to add my own nuances to the character. Sidhi is younger than me and I feel protective of my character. It's amusing to see how a privileged person is trying to live a life full of struggles.â View this post on InstagramFelt cute, might not delete later #rebellion #4moreshotsplease #siddhipiddhiA post shared by (@maanvigagroo) Talking about her character, Kirti added, âMy character has obviously become wiser and maturer after what she went through in season one. You also see Anjana taking a new journey. There are new problems that she will be facing this season. Weâre all used to the trials and tribulations involved with explaining dull facts to a room of tired and overworked colleagues - but if youâre looking for some serious MBA-style inspiration, you neednât look further than our Prime Minister. © Reuters After the âNamaste Trumpâ event at Ahmedabadâs Motera Stadium, POTUS Donald Trump went on to carry out bilateral negotiations with PM Modi at Hyderabad House. According to Hindustan Times, the PM decided on a rather unusual method of convincing Trump that his misgivings regarding Indo-US trade deficits were unfounded - his weapon of choice? A slideshow presentation on a handy iPad. Using the gadget, PM Modi showed President Trump what India had done during his tenure to reduce the trade deficit from $31 billion in 2014 to $24.2 billion in 2018âa decline of 22% over four years. He also highlighted US exports of coal, oil and natural gas to India - a trade marker that went from 0 in 2013 to $9 billion today, and is predicted to reach $12 billion by 2021. A few other âbullet pointsâ that were raised highlighted the importance of Indian students in Americaâs education system - a $6 billion addition to their economy. Thereâs also the deepening military trade relationship between India and the US - just two days ago, the countries signed a deal where India would be paying $3 billion to acquire a platoon of 30 helicopters - from the Apache attack helicopter platform to Lockheed Martin-Sikorskyâs SEAHAWK multi-mission helis. © Reuters Not too shabby for a set of talking points. The PM seemed quite adamant at making the most of Trumpâs visit. However, during a pre-lunch time window, he cornered the President with another set of talking points, this time about the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act and the nullification of Article 370 of the Constitution. © Reuters According to sources, the PM illustrated that âthe proportion of those belonging to minority communities in Pakistan and other Muslim nations in Indiaâs neighbourhood, including Christians, has fallen and that the law is aimed only at providing security and dignity to those mistreated in the neighbourhood.â He explained that CAA was not aimed at depriving any one of citizenship rights, people present at the meeting said to HT. On the issue of J&K, Modi seemed to have little to say - meeting attendees said that the PM âexplained how despite all his efforts, Pakistan was targeting India through terrorists.â View the full article

  12. We really like Vijay Deverakonda for his superb acting skills. We get to witness his talents each time a new film of his hits the theatres (we're talking about films like Comrade, NOTA, and even Arjun Reddy, for that matter) but also because aside from his acting, he's also dipped his toes in other ventures like launching his own clothing brand. Vijay Deverakonda has announced his label, Rowdy Wear's launch on retail site Myntra on 12 February 2020. For one of his public appearances recently, he dressed in a rather intriguing outfit that made us want to get a similar outfit ourselves. Take a look here: © Manav Manglani/ Instagram For a rather quirky traditional look, he was seen wearing a lavender shirt with a sheer black vest underneath, he's paired the shirt with a lungi with a quirky print and to complete the look, he's accessorised with a headscarf and a pair of sliders. This brings us to the pertinent question: When was the last time you saw a Bollywood actor in a Lungi? The closest is probably spotting Ranveer Singh or Ayushmann Khurrana in a ghagra or a saree. We would definitely love to see more actors embracing the lungi, especially after seeing how spectacular it looks on Vijay Deverakonda. But coming back to Vijay, this clearly looks like an outfit that is rather easy to cop and is also functional at the same time. But this is not the first time Vijay Deverakonda has worn a lungi, he's worn the silhouette multiple times and is, in fact, a fan of it. Exhibit A: © Viral Bhayani But for Vijay, experimenting with fashion trends is not a new move, the credit for this obviously goes to his stylists. He has previously worn outlandish outfits like the time he wore an outfit with no pants or the time when he wore a unique version of tie-up pants that looked like modern lungis. It is clear to us that Vijay looks good in almost everything and his sartorial game is only getting better by the day. View the full article

  14. Ever since making her international debut in 2010, Danielle Wyatt has been a vital cog in England's set-up for the women's cricket team. A prolific all-rounder, Wyatt boasts of over 2500 runs with the willow and 73 wickets across formats for the 'Three Lions'. But, at the very first mention of her in India, Wyatt reminds everyone of the women's cricketer who jokingly proposed to Virat Kohli on Twitter. While the England batswoman continues to share her admiration for the Indian captain, Wyatt appears to have found a new cricketer who is keeping her occupied on social media. For anyone who follows cricket, the love-hate relationship between Wyatt and Yuzvendra Chahal on social media platforms would have pretty hard to overlook. View this post on InstagramGreat to be back in Melbourne again ð ðA post shared by (@danniwyatt28) The two cricketers have been busy commenting on each other's post. While Chahal, owing to his jovial nature, couldn't seem to stop himself from impressing the England star, Wyatt's antics suggest that she's probably playing 'hard to get'. In a more recent case on Instagram, Wyatt shared a series of pictures where she was seen batting during the net sessions. © Instagram/@danniwyatt28 It was quite obvious to see Chahal's reply but it wasn't sure if he was complimenting or trolling her. Responding to Wyatt's post, Chahal commented: "666666". The Indian spinner was suggesting that the England cricketer had struck six successive sixes in a bid to probably win her over. But, sadly for Chahal, Wyatt had the last laugh with a reply: "if you were bowling". © Instagram/@yuzi_chahal23 Earlier, Chahal had shared a Team India photo-op with his spin-bowling partner Kuldeep Yadav on social media. "Making headshots look fun here in Chennai," he captioned the Instagram post. While everyone was elated to see the Indian spin-bowling pair together after a long time, Wyatt trolled Chahal by commenting: "I think you're smaller than me". © Instagram/@yuzi_chahal23 Prior to that, the right-handed batswoman had also made Chahal the butt of all jokes after he shared a photo of himself batting in Team India's net session. Amongst the responses on the post, Wyatt, referring to the stumps in Chahal's picture that didn't have bails on them, took a dig at Chahal with her comment: "Bowled". Well, we don't really know what the duo has been up to off social media, but, on Instagram, it's needless to say that there's something brewing between the two. Even if they aren't dating or thinking about being together, we are just delighted to witness their hilarious banters on social media. View the full article

  20. Whatever shape your beard has at the moment, beard neckline cannot be ignored. Having hair on the neckline can look a tad bit unkempt. It is important to give it a shape and for that, you need trimming advice to do it just the right way. Finding your beard neckline can be tricky and if you have been confused for a while about where to begin and how to give it a shape, we are here to tell you that it is super easy! 1. Method 1 Locate your Adam's apple and keep your two fingers above. The top point of your fingers is approximately where the neckline will be. © Istock 2. Method 2 Here's an easier method. Just tilt your head down. The crease where your jaw meets the neck, keep your fingers there. Now, straighten your head. This is the second method to find your neckline. Now that you have finally found a good neckline, you will need the right tools and technique to do the job right. © Istock 1. Using A Beard Trimmer Trimmers are easy to hold and the blades work just fine for beard neckline. You don't need to put a lot of pressure on it and it does its job quite easily. The only thing you need to remember is that you shouldn't trim high. It can make your face look big and won't match well with your beard. Keep your chin high and use the identifying method. Stretch the skin that's under your chin and then start trimming. Don't let your skin bunch up or you could end up hurting yourself. © Istock 2. Setting The Length Remember that you should keep the length of your neckline, shorter than your beard. Make sure you set the trimmer's settings accordingly and then start putting pressure gently with your trimmer. © Istock 3. Following Your Beard Neckline Once you have identified your neckline, you can follow another technique where you will need to visualise. The slightly curved line that goes from your ear lobes to under your jawline will give a good definition. This imaginary line will be near the top of your Adam's apple and it will form a U shape. The trick is to trim everything below this imaginary line. Try it out. © Istock 4. Beard Shaper A beard shaper is a tool that helps in trimming your neckline. This one ensures that the shaving lines are symmetrical. Furthermore, it helps in defining your neckline. All you need to do is use it with the contour of your neck and keep it on the curved side. Hold it along with your neckline, Now, shave the areas above or below this tool. © Istock 5. After Care Once you have trimmed your neckline, it is ideal to take care of your beard's health. The pores will be open once you have trimmed. In such cases, first, wash your face with cold water and then use an alcohol-free aftershave. Make sure you also clean your beard with a beard wash or shampoo. Don't forget to moisturise it with a beard oil as this step will hydrate the beard and the skin below it. © Istock View the full article
  21. Australia's Big Bash League feels more like a fun day off work with everybody from the fans to the players and even the officials having a great time amidst a game of cricket. But on Sunday, umpire Greg Davidson took the 'fun' to the next level when he caused massive confusion on the field on an LBW appeal. During the match between Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers on the weekend, Afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan shouted for a call when his delivery hit batsman Beau Webster's pads in front of the stumps. Responding to Khan's appeal, Davidson slowly raised his finger, obviously to signal the final decision but he realised midway that there was a tiny inside edge and affirming Khan's call would be incorrect. So what does the umpire do with his finger raised halfway? Well, just like any other intelligent man, he puts that finger beneath his nose and starts rubbing it. ð Greg Davidson with a bit of an itchy schnoz at Marvel Stadium #nosegate #BBL09 pic.twitter.com/m3M772Atox — KFC Big Bash League (@BBL) December 29, 2019 Davidson did this while Rashid was already celebrating the wicket with his teammates and he suddenly shouts: “I did not give him out,” while imitating that he was just rubbing his nose as one does. Eventually Khan and the Strikers went on to win the match by 18 runs and it was the Afghan who was named the Player of the Match. During the most-game ceremony, the cricketer as asked about the incident and he said: “I had started my celebration as well, I was shocked that the umpire changed the decision.” While this looks like something that would not have taken place in the past, some seasoned fans of Indian cricket would remember one such incident taking place over two decades ago in 1997 to be exact. 23. The smartphone market has seen significant growth not just in India, but across the globe. More are buying smartphones than ever, making it one of the fastest moving commodities. That being said, there's a good chunk of the population that prefers using a good old feature phone. I personally prefer using a dumb feature phone instead of a smartphone to stay away from all the buzzing notifications. However, there are things which you simply can't do on a feature phone. Making payments, for instance, is a huge pain. Although that could change very soon as NCPI has now partnered with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundations to help create an app for the same. Exciting opportunity for #innovators worldwide to build payment solutions for feature phone users in India! Congrats to @CIIEIndia, @NPCI_NPCI & @gatesfoundation for launching the Grand Challenge. More details here - https://t.co/L52lNwLTvb — Nandan Nilekani (@NandanNilekani) November 22, 2019 NCPI (National Payments Corporation of India), for those of you who don't know, are the same people who brought us BHIM, which is a UPI-based payment. And they've collaborated with CIIE.Co and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to give away a huge reward to folks who make a working payments app for feature phones. They've essentially come together to announce a competition, in which they're calling out developers to provide innovative solutions to make this happen. The winner of the competition will walk away with $100,000, which roughly translates to about Rs 70 lakh. That's indeed a lot of money for making an app. That and think about the exposure which you will gain from this particular gig. Vishal Anand Kanvaty, Chief of Innovation at NPCI noted that a significant chunk of population in India still relies on feature phones. And he thinks a solution is necessary to move India into a cashless economy. “Feature phones hold a significant share of the mobile user base in rural and semi-urban populations to anchor India's move to a cashless economy rapidly. With the help of the government and the payments ecosystem, it is crucial that we should focus on providing smart and simple payment solutions to feature phone users," he said. © Reuters Obviously coming up with a proper solution isn't going to be an easy job, but that's exactly what the competition is all about. Winners will also get support from CIIE.Co Bharat Inclusion Initiative, that provides support to sustain startups in the country. The film is majorly set inside The Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba and the audience gets to see the chilling goings-on inside the hotel and how its staff managed to save the guests from the terrorists. Anupam Kher plays Chef Hemant Oberoi, who showed extraordinary courage during the 2008 attacks and the movie is told from his perspective. The film has already has hit the screens and people on Twitter have been appreciating the movie for its raw and powerful content. #HotelMumbai is well shot & directed, covers the horrific event of 26/11 attacks at Taj & gives us an insight of the events from the other side. The film's major drawback are the characters, there is no depth, no dimensions & often falls into the trap of cliches. Average Watch. â amit dadhich (@amit12354) November 29, 2019  Well, when you already know the course of events because the movie is following the real story, itâs hard to keep the audience hooked to the narrative, however, it seems that Hotel Mumbai has overcome that hurdle and has managed to keep people on the edge-of-the-seat with its gripping detail. People are recommending the movie as a promising watch, even though it's a gut-wrenching tale. #HotelMumbai shws how ordinary ppl emerge as extraordinary humans, displaying exemplary courage. @AnupamPKher is remarkable, #DevPatel stands out @armiehammer @NazaninBoniadi translate the fear & agony of th horrific 26/11 terror attack. Weâve had to amalgamate several characters into one and that was primarily done to respect the privacy of some of the people we had interviewed. These were people who were more than cooperative to share their accounts but didnât want their names to be used. We changed the names of several key characters, but the accounts are real.â Hereâs the trailer of the movie:  Planning to watch it over the weekend? Let us know in the comments section below. 25. Teachers are one of the best things that can happen to you. While most of us definitely do not want to meet the teacher whose fear spread faster than light, we do wish to meet a certain Tshering Doma Bhutia, a teacher from Sikkim who has now become internet's latest obsession, thanks to her kickass dance moves and audacity (in a good way) to perform better than Ranveer Singh on one of his songs. Bhansali Productions Bhutia's dance skills came into the limelight on Children's Day, when she danced on Ranveer Singh's song 'Malhari' from Bajirao Mastani. She was filled with energy and for a second we thought that she borrowed all of it from Ranveer Singh. The video was shared by Melli Government Secondary School's facebook page, where she teaches. From hooting and whistling for her to joining her during her performance; the kids thoroughly enjoyed the gig and I don't think there can be a better gift for the students on Children's Day. The video that has now gone viral has garnered over 84,000 views and tons of comments thanking and saluting the teacher for her efforts. Well, looks like Ranveer Singh has got some tough competition right here. We wonder how he will do a dance performance at their school just on this song. View the full article
