Recently, rumours around the wedding of Ranbir Kapoor with Alia Bhatt started doing the rounds. It was reported that the two stars will soon be getting married by mid-April. 

However, when Ranbir was asked about his wedding date, he told NDTV, “I won't give out a date during a media interaction. But, Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon”.  

Now, when Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor was asked about Ranbir & Alia’s wedding, she had a funny response.

It so happened that paparazzi caught up with Neetu during a shoot and asked her, “Bahu kab aa rahi hai? (When are you bringing your daughter-in-law home?) 

Reacting to the question, Neetu looked towards the sky with a smile on her face gesturing that “god only knows”.

While there have been multiple reports of their wedding, there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet. When Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor was asked about it by Hindustan Times, he replied, “I’m not in Mumbai right now, and I haven’t heard anything about the wedding. If such a big wedding was happening at our house, somebody would have surely called me up and informed me.”  

Meanwhile, another report claimed that Ranbir’s bachelor party will see the presence of his close friends like Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor among others.  

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt will be seen working together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s long in the making magnum opus Brahmastra Part One - Shiva.  

The movie, also starring Amitabh Bachchan & Nagarjuna, is slated for a September 9 release.
