'Usse Pucho Martand Temple Ko Shaitan Ki Gufa Kyu Bola' People React As Anupam-Shahid Meet


Anupam Kher, who is currently basking in the record-breaking success of Vivek Agnihotri-directed The Kashmir Files, is currently in Delhi. The veteran actor is shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai in the national capital. Besides Anupam, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta among others in pivotal roles.

Interestingly, Shahid Kapoor too is currently in Delhi with his Jersey team for the film's promotions. Well, the Vivah co-stars recently bumped into each other in a gym. Anupam, who is very active on social media, shared the news with fans and posted a few pictures with Shahid. In the pictures, both of them are all smiles as they flex muscles while posing together.

Taking to Instagram, the veteran actor wrote, "Delighted to meet the #Jersey guy, co-actor and a dear friend @shahidkapoor in a gym in Delhi! While their fans were delighted with their reunion and filled the comments section with heart emojis, a section of social media users connected their post to The Kashmir Files and Haider controversy. Reacting to the pictures, a social media user commented, "Sir peeche usse pucho ek baar ki martand temple ko shaitan ki guffa kyu bola .....??" 

Another Instagram user stated, "One who acted in Haider??? Bas Aam janta hi paagal banti rahe???"

For the unversed, post the release of Vivek Agnihotri's film, Shahid and the Haider makers were slammed for calling Kashmir's Martand Temple a 'shaitan ki gufa' in the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial. Due to the same, Kashmiri Pandits even sought a ban on Haider for misrepresenting an ancient temple

However, Shahid as well as the Haider makers are yet to react.
