Former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan has become the first Prime Minister of the country to lose the trust vote. And with that, he has been removed as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. 

A day before the no-trust vote, Imran had addressed his nation and was all praise for India. Among other things, he said, “I have several friends in the country and this, I know the nation very well. I got huge respect and love in India”. 

Well, back in his prime, Imran was as popular in India as he was in Pakistan and often there were reports of him dating Bollywood actresses.

These include the likes of Shabana Azmi & Zeenat Aman. However, one of his rumoured relationships was with Rekha and a report in 1985 had also claimed that Imran will soon marry the iconic Bollywood diva. 

According to a report in Star, Imran, in the month of April, spent a lot of time in India with Rekha and the two were often seen spending quality time together at beaches, nightclubs & other private spots. 

The report also claimed that Rekha’s mother was quite happy with the alliance and deemed Imran to be the best suited life partner for her daughter.  

It was also reported that anyone who saw Rekha & Imran together was struck by their closeness and people were convinced the two stars were deeply in love with each other. 

However, the report also carried a quote by Imran Khan who had stated that he can’t think of marrying an actress, “The company of actresses is good for a short period. I enjoy their company for some time and then move ahead. I cannot even think of marrying a movie actress.”
