KARACHI: One person was killed in a traffic accident near Maripur truck stand, rescue sources said.

The deceased, however, has not been identified yet.

Target killers detained

Four suspected target killers were taken into custody during a search operation conducted in Martin Quarters, near Jahangir Road, late Thursday night, Rangers sources said.

Law enforcement agencies said the four suspects ? who were detained in a raid based on information revealed by a previously arrested suspect ? belong to the militant wing of a political party.

Numerous other suspects were detained by Rangers in a raid carried out in Lyari's Sango Lane area, sources stated.
