LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to fly to London to meet his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Begum Nawaz, who is Pakistan Muslim League ? Nawaz?s candidate for the NA-120 seat, is under treatment for lymphoma in London.

Nawaz is expected to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha in London, sources informed Geo News.

The former premier?s wife was diagnosed with the disease by British doctors on August 22.

According to British doctors treating the former premier's wife, her ailment is curable and ?treatment shouldn?t be too complicated.?

Begum Nawaz?s daughter Maryam Nawaz commenced campaigning for the NA-120 by-poll on Saturday.

The NA-120 seat fell vacant following Nawaz?s disqualification by the Supreme Court in the Panama Papers case.
