iPhone X specs
According to various tech publications, the premium model is expected to cost a whopping $1,000 and sport a new design sans the bezels around the display. The display will basically be a screen with a cutout at the top for the earpiece, selfie camera, and sensors.
The screen is tipped to be taller than the iPhone 7 Plus (5.5 inches), which means better display and a better experience. The screen will also sport ?True Tone? technology, a sensor that allows the screen to change temperature based on the environment, Bloomberg reported, citing a leaked software code.
The iPhone X will not have a Touch ID or a Home button. The Home button is replaced by a sleek virtual bar which you can use to open various applications. The 3-D Face Unlock will replace the Touch ID and is a 3-D facial recognition scanner for unlocking the phone. Termed the ?Faced ID? it can scan your facial features in less than a second and can also be used to authenticate payments and open apps.
The iPhone will have a new software and faster processor with the chip expected to called A11. The component is said to be based on a 10 nanometer manufacturing process, meaning better efficiency and a bigger battery life. The iPhone X will run on a new software, iOS 11.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are expected to feature 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens and are not expected to be significantly different from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.
Apple will most probably be offering no new iPads or Macs or any updates of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
