Apple promised everyone animated emojis, and they came through big time!

The highly anticipated iPhone X comes with a lot of exciting new features, but the 3D facial recognition one might have stolen the show. Taking the facial recognition even further, Apple is now also introducing a new ‘Animoji' feature in iOS 11.

So, basically, Animoji is the animated version of all the popular emojis found on the iPhone. But, it doesn't stop there. Combining it with the face-scanning feature of iPhone X, users will be able to create custom 3D versions based on their own facial expressions.

This feature will soon be available directly in the messaging app for iOS 7, and it will just immediately pick up facial expressions, syncing them with the emojis and animating them accordingly.

Then, after that the emojis can be edited on full screen, and they're all animated in real-time before the user sends them as a message. On the receiving end, the message will play as a looping video, along with the audio. 

According to Apple, Animoji is a “custom animated messages that use your voice and reflect your facial expressions.” Currently, Apple is working on a wide range of 3D emoji models, including monkeys, cats, dogs, and obviously, the mighty poop emoji. 

Honestly, being able to send an animated poop emoji based on a scan of your face should be the top reason to buy the new iPhone X. 

Animojis look like quite a lot of fun and they are literally about to redefine the phrase ‘talking shit'.
