Back in the 90s, A.R. Rahman gave us this cult song which would still find a place in the world’s best dance songs EVER. Don’t mind the exaggeration because the song is FUCKING GOOD. There’s nothing better than HUMMA HUMMA.

In those 5 minutes, Prabhu Deva tried out every dance form ever while Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala couldn’t even reach Base 1 in an empty, dark room.

Cut to 2016, 11 years later, rapper Badshah recreates A.R. Rahman’s original creation for Shaad Ali’s new film ‘Ok Jaanu’ and honestly, it’s not even half as good as the original but towards the end, you kinda want to play it again. And again. It grows on you and how!

The video will remind you of ‘Udi Udi’ from ‘Saathiya’ and it’s got Shaad Ali written all over it! You cannot have a Shaad Ali romance without a raunchy bedroom number. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur aren’t even half as good as Rani and Vivek Oberoi but the music kinda saves the boat.

The video is a huge letdown but the song is still kickass. This has got to be on your New Year party playlist!
