A shocking video footage has emerged that allegedly shows England?s all-rounder and vice-captain Ben Stokes in a violent street brawl outside a nightclub.
The 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after an incident in Bristol on Monday. He was held overnight and released under investigation, British police said.
He allegedly ?threw 15 punches in a minute?, British media claims.
Stokes, along with opener Alex Hales who was with him during the incident, was dropped for Wednesday?s fourth ODI against West Indies at The Oval.
The all-rounder, however, was named in England´s 16-man squad for the Ashes tour of Australia announced Wednesday despite the incident.
