Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz on Friday rebutted reports of a political motive to meet with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

?I reiterate, I am not part of any political discussion or tussle at all & certainly not a saviour to anyone either,? he tweeted.

Riaz said that all speculations on meeting with Nawaz are incorrect. I don't carry political baggage of anyone and don't have any political motivations, agenda or role whatsoever, he tweeted.

?I visited to enquire about health of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz. Following Sunnah of Prophet PBUH shouldn't be questioned for ulterior motive,? he added.

Riaz held separate meetings with Nawaz and Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in their Jati Umra residence on Thursday. He also inquired about the health of former premier's ailing wife Kulsoom's Nawaz's, Geo News had reported on Thursday.
