A pizza delivery guy is fighting for his life and may be blinded after being attacked by acid in London on Thursday evening.

Muhammed Nawshad Kamal, 32, was working in a town in east London on Thursday when he faced the attack.

The Independent reported that police have arrested a 14-year-old on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm.

According to police, two people on a scooter approached Kamal and tried to steal his bike, and threw acid in his face ?repeatedly?.

?This attack has left a man fighting for his life and with terrible eye injuries,? a senior police official said.

?This was an innocent man going about his work as a delivery driver, who may never see again.?

London has seen a number of acid attacks this year.
