ISLAMABAD: Minutes, after an Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman in his all four under-trial cases, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif, tweeted on Tuesday that the strict criteria?s of justice is only for Nawaz Sharif and his family, no one questions others. No one asks proclaimed offender (Imran Khan) where was he in last two years.

Responding over a comment issued by the chief justice during the hearing of Imran Khan disqualification case, saying that court is in no hurry to give its decision on Imran Khan disqualification case, she sarcastically remarked: ?Yes indeed there is no hurry. The only hurry was for Nawaz Sharif case. Because for judgment against Nawaz Sharif, new rules of justice were laid down?.

In another tweet, she said: IK's case is far more serious in terms of legal implications than Iqama joke. Nation now waiting to see the decision in his case.?

She also said: "Nawaz Sharif by presenting himself for ruthless accountability knowing it was a farce has forced others to measure up."

Imran Khan disqualification case

The Supreme Court reserved the verdict against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan and Secretary General Jahangir Tareen in the disqualification case.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar who heads the three-member bench, observed that it should not be expected that the court will give its verdict in the case tomorrow.

He remarked that the bench is looking for the truth, and will have to see if the respondent was dishonest in his dealings.

PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi filed a case against Imran and Tareen seeking their disqualification from Parliament over their alleged non-declaration of assets and ownership of offshore companies.

Presenting his arguments, Abbasi's counsel Akram Sheikh said Imran changed his stance during the course of hearing 18 times.

The chief justice observed that the benefit of speaking the truth is that one does not have to remember what was said before.
