Going back in history, it was Reita Faria who won the beauty title for the first time in 1966 from Asia. The next time India won the title was in the year 1994 when Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World. Rai's win opened up various avenues for Indian beauties who went on to claim the title like Priyanka Chopra, Diana Hayden and Yukta Mookhey.

Manushi replied, "My mother has been my biggest inspiration, so I have to say, a mother's job. It is not always about cash, but love and respect as well. A mother deserves that the most."
