We are all used to flash sales in India since the concept of super saving deals was introduced in China. Companies like Xiaomi have enjoyed some great success thanks to these flash sales and HMD is just another company who has achieved the same feat.

HMD hosted their first ever flash sale of the newly launched Nokia 6 and it took just under a minute for the company to sell out all available units.  The company has over a million registrations of interested buyers and the phone was exclusively available on JD.com.

The phone was available for 1699 (Around INR 16,850) Yuan, considering the specifications it is mighty pricey, however, that did not deter interested parties in putting their money where their mouth is. The phone features the humble Snapdragon 430 chipset which many people found underwhelming.

There are no details as to how many units were available in stock when it went on sale but it can be assumed that the second sale will be as successful or achieve even higher numbers. HMD is expected to host another flash sale in a few days.
