The 'Wolverine' Could Have Been 'James Bond' But Unfortunately It Never Happened

Hugh Jackman made his 'Wolverine' avatar iconic and has a massive fan following for that.

In a recent interview, Jackman revealed some information which could have been HUGE, if only it happened. Apparently, the 'Wolverine' turned down the iconic role of 'James Bond' because he thought the script was a little too wild for his comfort. β€œI just felt at the time that the scripts has become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become grittier and real', he said.

Another hiccup in the legendary actor not taking up the role of the iconic spy was that he was told by the producers that he won't have any say in the whole plotting of the movie and the character. So that's one more thing that made him turn it down. Also, he was worried about swinging between 'X-Men' and 'James Bond' which would have been tough. His refusal turned out to be gold for Daniel Craig eventually.

Obviously, Hugh had nothing to worry about and regrets didn't have any space in his life since he went on to do some stellar work and owned the whole 'Wolverine' franchise and made it what it became.
