Ranbir Kapoor Just Wore A Hoodie That Made Us Laugh At Our Salaries
There are a million ways of flaunting your wealth in life — million-dollar mansions, expensive mean machines or wrist watches worth Hugh Hefner's net worth. But that's just one way of putting your bucks on display. For men like Ranbir Kapoor, who're born with a silver spoon, just a fleece hoodie solves this whole, big purpose. Maybe not as expensive, but let's just say, the actor's recent outing with an Aimé Leon Dore hoodie, can be MRP-ed at a price of your current Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Safe to say, bearing a tag of $200 (approx. Rs. 13,000), Ranbir's long-sleeved fleece hoodie just made a lot us laugh at our spending abilities.

For a long time, the concept of a 'hoodie' just meant utmost comfort. Or having a piece that can be a go-to piece. Until an army of celebrities took matters in their hands, and conceived a concept for global self-pity. While they happily wore expensive gear in public, most of us lesser mortals, were reduced to being victims of LOL-ing at our salary levels. Sure, there's a reason why they're ultra-rich and we, a little less (or way less) — that doesn't mean we turn a damn hoodie into a piece of wealth. Clearly, what jewelry is to women, in today's times, is a hoodie to rich lads. Just Sob. Sob. Sob.

But beg to differ, the Kapoor kid looks quite cool in it. He's paired the solid coloured hoodie with corresponding separates, and high-top sneakers that absolutely had us at it's colour palette. So, whatever said and done, the trick is simple: go minimal with clothing and a little groundbreaking on the feet. That's the only way of making the combo of hoodie and joggers, grab itself a feature on MensXP.

As a big point to mention: we're also glad that this outing featured a very comfortable ensemble. Unlike a lot of global celebrities, travelling in three-piece suits, at least Ranbir kept the sanctity of his travel outfit alive. But all these observations aside, we wish we could do away with the placement of the hood on the head though.
