NASEERABAD: A Station House Officer was killed in a gunfight with dacoits in the Gandakha area of Balochistan.
During the exchange of fire, a dacoit involved in multiple crimes was also killed while another was injured and arrested by police officials.
Heavy contingents of police surrounded the area as the exchange of fire continued intermittently, said police officials.
The slain SHO belonged to the Jafferabad area of the province and his body was shifted to the local civil hospital.
