After Shobhaa De’s verbal diarrhoea bout got her trolled, the police officer who was fat shamed by her has spoken up.
Heavy police bandobast in Mumbai today! pic.twitter.com/sY0H3xzXl3
— Shobhaa De (@DeShobhaa) February 21, 2017The police officer in question is Daulatram Jogawat, who is an inspector with the MP police. His obese look is not courtesy how Shobhaa mocked him. Apparently, post a gall bladder operation in 1993, he has been suffering from an insulin imbalance in the body. In an interview, he said, "Nobody loves to be overweight. If madam knows about some weight-loss treatment, then help me lose weight. It is not good to mock someone without having any detail about the person."
Twitter is a ground where a lot of people mock others and sometimes, it is in good taste. But what Shobhaa did is clear crass and insensitive. Body shaming highlights the low mentality of the person trying to shame the other. She eventually had to apologise after a hard lesson in being human.
Mumbai/Maharashtra Police, pranaam. No offence intended. M.P. police, consult a dietician,if it's an asli ,undoctored image doing the rounds
