DUBAI: With the harsh memory of losing to Islamabad United in this season's most thrilling encounter last week, Lahore Qalandars will look to avenge their defeat and end their losing streak when they face the Reds in today's first encounter in Dubai.

In a nail-biting match that went all the way down to a Super Over, Islamabad held their nerve to come out at the right side of the match. Looking much more confident since, the Misbah-led team is now at 4th position on the points table, with 3 wins and 2 losses so far. 

Lahore's nightmarish run, however, continues. The team has lost all five of its matches so far, drawing the fans' ire for some inexplicable judgment calls that have only extended its woes in the tournament.
