Tesla Might Implement An Advertising Plan That Was Suggested By A Fifth Grader

Many companies choose not to advertise their products due to the value a brand can uphold if they are the leader in a specific industry. Similarly, Tesla does not advertise their electric cars simply because everyone relates Tesla to โ€˜greenโ€™ cars we all know today

However, on the advice of a fifth grader, Tesla might just shift their strategy because of a request posted on Twitter by the pre-teenโ€™s father. Bria, the fifth grader who wrote the letter for a class assignment caught Tesla CEO Elon Muskโ€™s attention.ย

@elonmusk Elon, my daughter wrote you a letter for a school project. She mailed it to Tesla, but I figured I'd paste here. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/ntGEL9WCh3

Bria thanked Musk in the letter for his commitment towards a cleaner environment and describes her desire to become a politician so that she can lift the ban on Telsa cars in Michigan. In Michigan, there is an asinine restriction where car manufacturers cannot sell their cars directly to customers. She then offers advice on Teslaโ€™s future advertising strategy:

โ€œI have noticed you do not advertise, but many people make homemade commercials for Tesla and some of them are very good, they look professional and they are entertaining. So, I think that you should run a competition on who can make the best homemade Tesla commercial and the winners will get their commercial aired. The cool part is that you still wonโ€™t be taking the time and money to advertise for yourself. Plus, this is something our fans and customers will definitely love. You could give the winners a free year of Supercharging or a Model 3 Easter Egg or something.โ€
