Kartik Aaryan's Kimono Jacket Is The #1 Piece Every Indian Man Should Own In 2018

For a man known for ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, sweatpants, bomber jackets and a two-piece for formal settings — Kartik Aaryan did quite well for himself last night. For Pawan Sachdeva's Autumn/Winter showcase at Amazon India Fashion 2018, the actor decided to close the show in a terrific outfit worth a major cop.

To put things into perspective, Pawan's showcase this season took the most relaxed silhouettes for a modern spin. While the ensembles were mainly monochrome, hints of embroideries and animal graphics took each one of them up a notch. And much like Kartik's outfit here, the collection always featured a consistent use of faux fur sliders (Gucci?).

To break it down, however, Kartik's wearing a cowl-neck, white primary piece topped with a black kimono with a grey belt and trousers that are miles away from being slim-fit. Which to be honest, seemed to all blend in together. Clearly, while Aaryan's quite the well-styled (but an ordinary guy) in real-life, this ensemble is a turning point in the theory.

As Kartik revealed to us, it's all about comfort + style for him. Something, that helps him be at ease at all times and even ensures that every time he walks the ramp, there are no butterflies in the stomach involved. But as of today, he seems to be 100% down for kimonos for summer. Will we be seeing more of these on him in the future?

That said, while Pawan's eased-out tailoring brought a lot of accolades from the front-row seated buyers, his simple, relatable styling techniques too were the talking points of a few conversations. Not denying, this really was one of the menswear shows we've seen so far, this season.
