A Bolero SUV Launched Itself Into The Sky After It Got Fed Up With Mumbai's Water Woes

All those people who think Elon Musk is the coolest person in the world, clearly haven't met Mumbaikars yet. Why? Because they didn't spend millions on launching a car into space, they did it in a matter of seconds using the most inexpensive mode – water.

If you don't want to go that far, pick up any Rohit Shetty movie. There is literally no dearth of 'flying' cars. But trust me, Rohit Shetty or Elon Musk, have got nothing on Mumbai when it comes to blowing cars up into the sky. Because Mumbai's sewage water pipes are enough to take care of this task.

Recently, a video went viral on the internet, where a white Bolero can be seen being shot up into the sky. No injuries were reported though.

Was it a social experiment? No. Was Mumbai trying to list itself in the Guinness Book of Records? After this, maybe. But, it's not a prank. Turns out you can blame or credit this feat to an underground water pipe busting open, which also gave 'Goa feels' to everyone walking on the street, without spending a penny on the tickets.

People of Borivali were in for a shock when the massive water burst happened, low-key prepping them up for the monsoons that will make things worse. In fact, such was the force of water that the Bolero SUV, that was parked right on top of the pipe, blew up to a height of nearly two floors.

The incident took place at around 1 a.m. and reportedly, a few vehicles parked nearby were damaged because of the burst. This pipeline burst has resulted in the wastage of approximately 36,000 litres of water.
