Japan has a weird tradition of a ***** parade that takes place every year. Many Japanese women sit on a carved out phallic symbol for good luck and it is completely normal. It is named as the ‘Hodare Fertility Festival’ and is believed to bring good luck and fertility to the married couples.

‘Hodare’ means male genitals in English and the tradition dates back to the 17th century. A new wooden ***** is carved from a cedar tree every year and men carry it around town.
