After 4 Long Years, Orkut Couldn't Have Chosen A Better Time To Say 'Hello'

Before the storm called 'Facebook' and 'Instagram' swept us off our feet and helped us showcase our social vanity by putting our lives on social media as a celebrity, everyone was hooked to 'Orkut'—the cute, good looking website to add friends, leaving scraps and testimonials for people we liked and having our own digitally altered wonderful life.

But like that haunting ex and a good old childhood best friend, Orkut is coming back as 'Hello'. The brain behind this belongs to the same man who gave us our first digital friend. Orkut Buyukotten has set up his new place in the Silicon Valley and is all ready to drop it on us.

With Facebook facing a lot of heat right now, Hello might just be the new friend we all need. You know actually what would be the ideal situation? Imagine if all our profiles are restored with the same scraps, testimonials and hideous pictures of the past long forgotten! Well, for now, only time will tell how it fares and sails in this ocean of technology.
