While India and Pakistan continue to remain at loggerheads over their bilateral cricketing ties, it appears that the relations between the neighbouring countries isn't going to get better any time soon. As the three-member International Cricket Council (ICC) panel gears up to hear the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) compensation claim against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for refusing to play bilateral series, the antics of Pakistani cricketers have further added to the woes.
Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren't they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?

First, it was Shahid Afridi who stirred up a storm after labelling the Indian armed forces as an oppressive regime in his insensitive tweet. And now, it seems that Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali might have taken his antics a bit too far when his team visited the Wagah-Attari border to attend the 'Beating Retreat' ceremony.
But, what was supposed to be an alleged message of peace, soon turned ugly as Ali mocked the Indian soldiers after unveiling his over-zealous move - his signature celebration after taking a wicket on the field. The right-arm bowler is known to imitate a bomb explosion in his unique way of celebrating a dismissal.

However, at the Wagah border, as the infantrymen on both the sides began the flag-lowering ceremony, the 24-year-old was seen storming into the middle of the ceremony and going to the edge of Pakistan's gate as the Rangers looked on. He was then seen performing his signature on-field move before patting on his thigh and raising his arms to intimidate Indian soldiers amid great applause from his countrymen and utter displeasure from the Indians.
His teammate Azhar Ali who was also present at the ceremony claimed that "peace is the way forward" while he shared a picture of himself with both Indian and Pakistani soldiers on Twitter. As for Hasan, it's quite astonishing to see a popular figure pulling off such stupid antics at the border. But, then again, we reckon the contrasting difference between the antics of Azhar and Hasan is a prime example of what education can do to an individual.

On the other hand, the Border Security Force (BSF) has taken strong note of a civilian from Pakistan interfering in the ceremony on the Pakistani side. As per protocol, the ceremony is to be conducted only by the BSF on the Indian side and Rangers on the Pakistani side. “The act has hit the sanctity of the parade. We will lodge a protest with Pakistan Rangers,” BSF Inspector General (Punjab Frontier) Mukul Goel was quoted as saying by The Sunday Express.

There was no cricket field, he wasn't playing a match and there was no dismissal to celebrate. Thus, we wonder what really instigated the young Pakistani seamer to perform the derogatory act. Imagine the kind of backlash an Indian cricketer would have faced if he had done something as stupid as that to Pakistani soldiers.
While Hasan laughed his way off the ceremony, his antics failed to impress the cricket fans who wasted no time in slamming the Pakistani bowler on the social media.

— Saad Rajput (@SaadIsHere) 21 April 2018Nope... Not impressed by Hasan Ali's tamasha at Wagah! Would rather love to see him keep performing it on the field.
