There is no dearth of talented and hardworking people in India, just like there is no end to people coming up with excuses to not try. Sadly, some of us belong to the latter part of the universe and give up or lose hope midway and blame it on luck. But, there are also some people who script their own luck, and are the true ambassadors of 'where there's a will, there's a way' society.
Most of us use the free WiFi available at railways stations. And why not? After all, it's made for people like us to use internet on the go without wasting our data pack. But how proud are you of search history? I have heard people downloading latest games, songs, movies and even porn using free WiFi. I know what's your argument going to be – What do you expect us to do? Clear civil services exam or become IAS with the help of it?

Well, we don't know about you, but Sreenath K did exactly that and he totally deserves all our respect for doing it. Sreenath just proved that you can achieve your dream or inch closer to it even with limited resources. And when we say limited, we mean using the free WiFi available at the railway station in the middle of carrying heavy luggage of passengers on his shoulders.
Sometimes, even a huge pile of books or tons of coaching classes aren't enough for civil service aspirants to crack the exam. Here Sreenath cleared the written test of the Kerala Public Service Commission with the help of WiFi at Kerala's Ernakulam station, while ensuring that his work doesn't get affected.

Sreenath has been working as a coolie (porter) at the station for the past five years. If you were travelling to Kerala and spotted him wearing earphones most of the time while carrying luggage, it was probably because he was busy listening to and learning the study material on phone.
Sreenath, who is a school drop-out and has already attempted the exam thrice, reportedly said, “I have appeared thrice for the exam and this is the first time I used the WiFi at the station. What I do is put on my earphones and listen to the study material as I carry the luggage or solve questionnaires in my mind.”

He further added, “This way I can study while I work. I revise all my work at night when I get free time.” If Sreenath can crack his exam by studying at the crowded station and solving questions while carrying luggage, we can only imagine the wonders that he can do if he gets better resources. Sreenath is from Munnar and Ernakulam happens to be the nearest major railway station from there.

According to Sreenath, station WiFi has opened up opportunities and possibilities, which he couldn't even imagine even in his dreams. Sreenath is just one stage away from achieving his dream. If he qualifies his interview he might become a village field assistant under the land revenue department. In fact, he is quite positive and optimistic about this, “I will keep studying. While I work as a coolie because I have the pressure of running my house, I will keep studying and appearing for exams. If I appear for enough exams, I am bound to get a good job.”
We are extremely proud of you Sreenath and we hope that you clear the interview and work towards the betterment of your village. And for the rest of y'all, what's your excuse for not trying?
