Just last month, the Moto G5 Plus was announced in India and Lenovo has taken the next step to announce a new addition to the family. The Moto G5 is the smaller and the cheaper version of its big brother and has entry level specifications to compete with the likes of Redmi Note 4. The Moto G is currently on sale exclusively on Amazon for the price of Rs 11,999.

The Moto G5 has a 5-inch LCD display with Full HD resolution and uses the entry-level Snapdragon 430 SoC. It is interesting to note that the Moto G5 Plus uses the Snapdragon 625 processor and has higher capabilities since the Moto 5 is the cheaper and younger brother. The Moto G5 will also have 3GB of RAM under the hood coupled with 16 GB of internal storage.

The Moto G5 packs a camera sensor, which comes with a phase detection autofocus (PDAF) 13MP rear camera, a large f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also has a 5MP wide-angle lens designed for group selfies. The device has other features in the camera app such as beautification mode and professional mode.
