Goa Dance Scenes Are Coming To A Close In Two Weeks Thanks To The Great Indian Government

And in its latest blow, the Goan government has announced that all Goan clubs and pubs that support a late night dance culture (which is basically everywhere in Goa), are going to be disallowed in exactly two weeks time.

What This Means?

It means no more Tito’s and Mambo’s after hours, no more shacks after hours, no more anything that has to do with dancing and music after hours in Goa. The one thing that took everyone to Goa is the one thing the government is making absolutely sure to stop in two weeks.

This also means you have exactly two weeks to fly down there and make the most of Goa’s famous party scenes till they cease to exist and become a thing of the past.

According to Siolim MLA Vinod Palyekar, also the Minister for Water Resources, it was the police crackdown on late night parties in the Vagator area that stirred such a decision on the part of the Goan government.  He assures us that there’s going to be a total and complete stop to the loud music and the late night partying in the city. “We have already stopped 80% of these parties. Within two weeks, all the parties will be shut. The police have already been instructed,” he adds. According to him, stopping such rave parties is the first step in stopping the infestation of drug trade along the coast.
