The Champions League final in Kiev is not a game the Liverpool fans are likely to forget in a long time. More than Real Madrid, Liverpool had itself to blame for league division type mistakes on the field and the scoreline truly justified the 3-1 result.

This, however, doesn't mean that the entire Liverpool squad is no good. Jurgen Klopp's team can be proud of itself for making it to the finals of the Champions League and retaining the top four spot in the EPL. Klopp has been instrumental in cultivating an aggressive mindset at Liverpool, which can be ostentatiously seen in his 'Jurgen press' plays. The Liverpool manager, therefore, has a mad fan following at the club and more so now that the team has started to deliver on its promises.

Klopp is generally seen as a fan favourite and rightly so, because he respects and tries to keep in touch with the fan base. After losing to Real Madrid in Kiev, Klopp came out and celebrated their incredible journey this year with the fans, singing his heart out till the wee hours and thanking them for their support.
