Lana Del Rey has been in the news for her new album Lust For Life which is due to release pretty soon. The Weeknd is in the news for… well… for pretty much everything and nothing but, let’s just say, The Weeknd is in the news for his last album release, his track, Starboy, his break up with supermodel, Bella Hadid, his link up with fellow musician Selena Gomez, for burning Justin Beiber’s… erm… nether regions for dating his former girlfriend and making no small deal about it. So, yeah, The Weeknd has been in the news… for breathing, alone… you could say that.

But, that was before yesterday. Last evening, BBC Radio broadcast a new song to introduce Lana Del Rey’s new album Lust For Life, ahead of its release and guess who’s collaborated with the singer! It’s none other than The Weeknd, himself. Yes!

The track, called ‘Lust For Life’ released last evening on BBC’s radio channel and has been doing the rounds all over the internet ever since.

About the soundtrack, which is the title track for the entire album, Lana Del Rey says that she knew that The Weeknd would have been perfect for the track.  “I just thought he would be great for this song,” she told the BBC. “I really feel like he just added so much on it.” We agree with her, especially given that The Weeknd is kind of on an all-time high in life, generally anyway. So, who better to lend his music to the track, right?
