Half of the internet, most of who happen to be cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra's fans, went into a meltdown after coming across his post on Twitter. Reason? His 'double than most of our salaries' food bill. Aakash Chopra paid a whopping 7 lakh food bill, but here's the catch. While, some thought that it's Rs. 7 lakh, it is actually the Indonesian Rupiah he's talking about, which is around 3300 in Indian currency.

When Twitter was busy reacting to Chopra's food bill, we came across Cristiano Ronaldo's generous act towards a certain hotel in Greece where he was chilling with his family. An act that's worth way more than most of our annual salaries.

Post Portugal's exit from the World Cup Round of 16, Cristiano Ronaldo took some time off to explore the picturesque locales of Greece, and relish the Greek hospitality at Costa Navarino hotel with his girlfriend and family. By the end of his stay, he was so impressed by the staff and their services that he gave them a whopping £17,850 as a tip. FYI it's close to Rs. 16 lakh. Honestly, it will take me two glances at my bank balance before this news finally sinks in.

Reportedly, the gesture came after he signed for Juventus in a EUR 100 million deal. In fact, the deal was finalized during the Greece trip as he was in talks with Juventus executive Andrea Agnelli during that time.

We guess Cristiano Ronaldo's heart is bigger than his pocket. So what if he exited the World Cup early, he sure left a huge smile on the faces of the hotel staff that served him during his stay.
