Imagine it's yet another day of the week, you are going about it as per usual and as your wonderful luck would have it, you have the opportunity to behold two of your country's very celebrated and popular celebrities, one being a legend, while riding up an elevator, as the door slides open at a random floor.

Now, imagine the same scenario starring 'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon and former bass guitarist and singer of 'The Beatles' Paul McCartney. Cool, right? For us, that would perhaps be the best conclusion to a mundane activity such as riding an elevator but this happened to be a reality for some folks in New York.

Recently, Fallon and McCartney ganged up together to prank the people riding the elevator at New York's 30 Rockefeller Plaza, who were there to take a tour of the NBC television studios. 

The prank was caught on camera for the world to see and the reactions they received from the fans, who were caught unaware by the two celebs, is truly heartwarming.

It is a two-minute fifty-second video clip that was shared on the official YouTube channel of 'The Tonight Show', where you can witness Fallon and McCartney sitting on sofas, a newspaper in hand, right outside the elevator lobby. When the elevator arrives, they reveal their faces from behind the newspaper, only to be greeted with excited cries and cheers.

Don't you agree that the reactions are totally priceless? We would have equally enjoyed the moment had we been there (though we can't promise to have contained our excitement as nicely) but watching the video is equally fun. It feels so nice to see celebs act so sportingly and leave people with a wide grin pasted on their faces.
