Do you remember watching 'Sonic The Hedgehog' in your childhood? Well, that's a rather specific show to remind you of, but we have a very good reason to do so. 

Karan Johar just stepped out wearing a pair of shoes that look like they were inspired by the character of 'Shadow The Hedgehog', Sonic's evil nemesis. Take a look.

Karan is wearing a pair of 'Super King' sneakers by Dolce & Gabbana. The colourful sneakers boast of a bright palette with red, yellow, white, and black, and have an uncanny resemblance to the character of Shadow. 

They also remind us of a pair of Balenciaga Triple S sneakers in terms of their bulky construction - which are KJo's go-to shoes for most occasions. They are sold out in the market right now, and are expected to cost upwards of INR 45K.

The sneakers definitely do have an edgy personality, much like the brooding, sassy demeanour of Shadow. The serrated red details on the sides remind us of his spiky hair and the bright yellow details might just be an ode to the inhibitor rings he used to wear on his wrists to keep his chaos force in check.
