Smith's Mumbai trip paved the way for all sorts of rumours about his possible projects in India. First, was making a special appearance with Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar on 'Koffee With Karan' season 6. This news came after Karan Johar posted a picture of him and Ranveer Singh chilling with Smith.

The second rumour circling around was that he might make a cameo in Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year 2', as he was seen dancing with Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. 

Reportedly, Remo D'Souza confirmed that Smith shot for a song for the movie and said that it was a dream-come-true for him to be able to choreograph a routine for Smith.
