Shane Warne Just Can't Get Enough Of This 7-Year-Old Kashmiri Boy's 'Ball Of The Century'

The Indian cricket team has been blessed with a variety of spinners across all formats. With the Virat Kohli-led side currently battling the Australians in the first Test, Ravichandran Ashwin - who has become a Test specialist for his country - was seen bamboozling the hosts at the Adelaide Oval.

The Indian offie picked three crucial wickets in the first innings and then claimed two more scalps in the second innings to ensure the visitors are just six wickets away, with one day still left to play, from clinching an emphatic win and taking a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.

But, while Ashwin has spun a web around the Aussies to aid his team, a young spinner from Kashmir has taken the social media by storm with his bowling skills. Believe it, or not, a seven-year-old kid from Kashmir boasts of impeccable spin bowling skills that has even impressed Shane Warne.

Easily ball of the century. A googly that turns a metre and a half. @ShaneWarne take a look. You have some competition. pic.twitter.com/GEanTVuVME

In a video shared by a Jammu & Kashmir-based journalist on the social media, the young boy Ahmad, who hails from Ganderbal district of Kashmir, was seen bowling a googly that initially pitched way outside the line of the wickets before taking a sharp turn of more than a metre and clipped the stumps. “Easily ball of the century. A googly that turns a metre and a half. @ShaneWarne take a look. You have some competition,” the tweet read.

This is outstanding ! Well bowled young man ð https://t.co/NfADPHXj4F

Taking note of the talented young boy, the former Australian cricketer hailed praise at his bowling skills and tweeted: "This is outstanding! Well bowled young man”.

Apart from Warne, the video of the young boy also impressed cricket fans across the globe. The video has already garnered nearly 90k views, while it has been retweeted over 500 times on Twitter.

The caption of the video 'ball of the century' originally refers to Warne's magical delivery that got rid of England's Mike Gatting during the second day's play of the first Test at Old Trafford in 1993. Warne's delivery had pitched outside the leg stump before turning sharply and clipping the top of off-stump. Hailed as the revival point of spin bowling in Test cricket, the delivery was later termed as 'ball of the century' by the cricketing fraternity.
