US President Donald Trump — File photoAmid rising tensions with Iran, United States President Donald Trump made a surprising speech on Wednesday, in which he spoke of additional sanctions against Iran, while hinting at deescalation of conflict at the same time.
After the calculated and much-hyped speech, social media users discussed at length the major international crisis.
A few took the speech as the 'first step towards deescalation' while others were not so kind in their opinion regarding the US president's speech.
Pakistani politician and Senator Sherry Rehman welcomed the notion of peace in the address.
Another praise for the speech.
Politician Marvi Memon also seconded a journalist on his views.
Some were also critical of the US President Trump's address.
The speech was also taken as a first step towards de-escalation of conflict.
