
KARACHI: Among some of the ventures that made their debut at the Karachi Eat 2002, MSA's Bake Away proved to be a success story.
One of the representatives of the home-based venture spoke to Geo.tv, saying the response at the festival had been amazing.
"We didn't even get a chance to breathe," she said, describing how busy the stall had been due to the plethora of customers that came its way. "This is the first time we are here. We've never done this before."
The brains behind MSA's Bake Away, two sisters--one of whom is a baker--"wanted to take it [the home-based business] to a professional level".
In response to a question, she said the cheesy corndogs were a hit with customers. "We're also offering fried Snicker's bars and Oreos dipped in cinnamon sugar," she said.
