Baahubali Actor Prabhas Thanks His Fans With The Utmost Humility In An Emotional Facebook Post

The roaring success of ‘Baahubali 2’ is a first in the history of Indian cinema. And carrying a major part of the credit on his muscular shoulders is actor Prabhas himself. It seems like the reel-life Baahubali is not very different from the real-life man, who is grounded to the core.

Instead of letting the success go to his head, Prabhas seems to be even more grateful to his fans and his director. The star of the South recently penned an emotional Facebook post, thanking all his fans for the immense love they gave him and director SS Rajamouli for giving him the opportunity to portray the epic character.

The full text:

“To All My Fans, a big hug to each one of you for all the love that you’ll have showered on me. I have tried my best to go through a lot of the efforts that you all have put to express your affection for me from different parts of India and even overseas. I am truly overwhelmed with everything. The journey of Baahubali has been a long one but among the few things that I will take away from this, is all of you. Lots of love back to you all. A big thank you to SS Rajamouli sir for believing in me to carry his huge vision to the masses, giving me a once-in-a-lifetime character of Baahubali and making the entire journey so special.”

Along with the success of ‘Baahubali 2’, Prabhas’s fan following has scaled new heights too. The actor received 6,000 marriage proposals post the success of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. He is even getting a wax statue in Madame Tussauds, Bangkok, and is the first South Indian actor to be given the honour.

Much like the role he played in ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas knows the value of humility and gratitude. The actor devoted 5 years to the making of this grand-scale epic and the hard work shows. The mark of a truly gifted artist is his humility and Prabhas is as humble as his onscreen character Baahubali.
