Mere hours after dropping the hottest, freshest roast you can find on YouTube, Indian Youtuber CarryMinati has, seemingly, once again made history for Indiaâs Youtube Community. 

Not only has he put legions of TikTok hopefuls on their backs after a brutal, savage verbal smackdown - heâs done so while zooming past previous Indian YouTube records.

After thousands of fans began to post memes and support for CarryMinatiâs dismantling of TikTok, the posts began to turn from laughter to downright surprise and amazement, as the views and likes began to pile on.

First, the video shot past the 5 million likes mark in just a day - seemingly a record for Indian YouTube:

This is even more impressive considering that the streamer/comedianâs videos have mostly organic growth instead of being promoted online the way many other channels are. 

As of today, the like-dislike ratio on the video is within a hairâs breadth of 100 - a sign that people are here for the content, and stayed for it too, further pushed by the 1 million+ subscribers who signed up for CarryMinatiâs updates in the space of a single video.

Despite the immense popularity of this video, it seems like the YouTuber, whose real name is Ajey Nagar, isnât just your everyday run-of-the-mill kind.

Having kicked off his channel at the age of ten, heâs had a long crawl to the top.

Not only has he become one of the most successful YouTubers in the business, heâs also done some pretty cool stuff along the way, such as interviewing Tom Cruise and making it into TIME Magazineâs âNext Generation Leaders 2019â list, alongside teen activist Greta Thunberg and American actress Tessa Thompson.
